Valley of the Gods

The Valley of the Gods is a scenic sandstone valley near Mexican Hat in southeastern Utah, United States. It's off the beaten path with scenery much like that of nearby Monument Valley, featuring isolated buttes, towering pinnacles, and a 17-mile dirt and gravel road which winds through the valley. It's a fun drive through an area that's usually deserted.

Crawford Path to Lakes of the Clouds mountain hut. This 8.5 mile spectacularly scenic trail is the oldest, continuously maintained, hiking path in America. The Crawford Path was originally built during the 1800’s and used as a horse trail over the southern Presidential Range to the summit of Mount Washington.

Beetle Love

Dogbane leaf beetles are tiny colorful beetles, often overlooked, they live out their lives, mating and feeding on Dogbane plants, also know as Indian Hemp. It was used by Native American for cordage. The plant is toxic to dogs and other livestock, hence the name.
